Our Purpose
To support the education of children at Meridiana Elementary.
Our Mission
To strengthen the overall educational experience of Meridiana elementary by supplementing campus needs and providing support to the administration and staff as well as the students and their parents. We plan to accomplish this through sponsoring activities, recruitment of consistent volunteers, school wide fundraising initiatives, and fostering positive business relationships within the community.
Our History
The opening of Meridiana Elementary in the fall of 2016 paved the way for the creation of the Explorer PTO. With a desire to preserve and enhance the energy and excitement of the new school, parents, teachers, and the community came together to form an awsome organization. Meet the Team
The true power of the PTO is the collective effort of all the members. The Explorer PTO is governed by non paid volunteers who make up the Executive Board. Board members are voted on by the Explorer PTO members (general body) and serve in their position for 1 year terms
The Executive Board has five positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Volunteer Coordinator
Each year as new projects, goals, and tasks are identified, committees are established . Committee Chairs, made of volunteers work together to help support the Executive Board.
